ABC6 free downloads (latest is 13 Nov2008)

Install ABC6 (approx 16Mb) This is the full ABC6 Accounts package and can be used to install ABC6 (trial version) or as a full Update for any earlier copy of ABC6. Filename is ABC6_INST_61xx.exe (the _61xx is the version number). Current version is 6.140

General Update for After 7th Sept (approx 4Mb) Run this on each computer you have got ABC6 installed on. It will update both ABC6 Accounts and ABC6 Payroll. Filename is ABC6_GENUPD_61xx.exe (the _61xx is the version number). Current version is 6.145.
This includes Payroll for use after 7th Sept-- Payroll version is 08-09C1.
Also includes a new feature DOT MATRIX PRINT for those wanting to print on multi-part forms.

Instructions for downloading software.

Simply click on one of the links above to get your computer to start downloading that file and SAVE TO DISK. While it is downloading, we suggest you make a note of the Name of the file you are downloading (eg. abc6_inst_6117.EXE )

When you have finished downloading the file onto your computer, you then need to RUN it in order to install or update your ABC program. Probably the easiest way to do this is to use Windows to locate the file, and then double-click the mouse on it.
Proceed as follows:

From the START button on your Windows desktop, select FIND, FILES OR FOLDERS and then enter the name of the file you downloaded
(eg. abc6_inst_6107.exe) and click "Find Now" When the file appears in the box below, you can simply double-click on it to cause it to "run"

If you have problems with this, or need someone to talk you step-by-step through it on the telephone, please contact your local support person. If all else fails, we suggest you simply order an update disk from us through the post in the normal (old fashioned..??) way.

As soon as a bug is reported, we fix the program and put the updated software onto this website. It is up to you to check this website regularly (eg. every couple of weeks) and download the latest software.
