ABC6 Accounts software
Install ABC6.2 (approx 24Mb) This is the full ABC6 Accounts package and can be used to install ABC6 (trial version) or as a full Update for any earlier copy of ABC6. Filename is ABC6_INST_62xx.exe (the _62xx is the version number). Current version is 6.243

Update ABC6.2 (approx 6Mb) Only includes recently changed ABC6 programs to update your existing ABC6.2 (including network version). This will only work if you have already installed ABC6.2 (see above). If you have an earlier version of ABC6, you need to use the INSTALL ABC6.2 first before this update will run. Filename is ABC6_UPD_62xx.exe (the _62xx is the version number). Current version is 6.244
ABC6 Payroll
Install Payroll 09-10 (approx 14Mb). This will install the ABC6 Payroll 09-10A for use from 6th April 2009. You do not need to have ABC6 Accounts to use this Payroll -- it is a separate program. After installing this, you may need to also run the Payroll Update (below) if it has a later version number. Filename is ABC6_PAYINST_P6023.EXE.
Update Payroll 09-10 A8 (approx 4Mb) This is ABC6 Payroll 09-10 for use from 6th April 2009. It fixes all problems reported prior to AUG09, and also updates printing P14 Forms in Payroll 08-09. Filename is ABC6_UPDPAY_0910A8.EXE.
(Note: this update only works if you have already installed the Payroll CD purchased from ABC Direct)
Payroll End-Of-Year Internet Submit (approx 4Mb) This program allows you to submit your PAYE End of Year Return electronically. It is suitable for ABC5 and ABC6.

Simply click on one of the links above to get your computer to start downloading that file and SAVE TO DISK. While it is downloading, we suggest you make a note of the Name of the file you are downloading (eg. abc6_inst_6243.EXE )
When you have finished downloading the file onto your computer, you then need to RUN it in order to install or update your ABC program. Probably the easiest way to do this is to use Windows to locate the file, and then double-click the mouse on it.
Proceed as follows:
From the START button on your Windows desktop, select FIND, FILES OR FOLDERS and then enter the name of the file you downloaded
(eg. abc6_inst_6107.exe) and click "Find Now" When the file appears in the box below, you can simply double-click on it to cause it to "run"
If you have problems with this, or need someone to talk you step-by-step through it on the telephone, please contact your local support person. If all else fails, we suggest you simply order an update disk from us through the post in the normal (old fashioned..??) way.
As soon as a bug is reported, we fix the program and put the updated software onto this website. It is up to you to check this website regularly (eg. every couple of weeks) and download the latest software.
