ABC6 Accounts software

Install ABC6.2 (approx 24Mb) This is the full ABC6 Accounts package and can be used to install ABC6 (trial version) or as a full Update for any earlier copy of ABC6. Filename is ABC6_INST_62xx.exe (the _62xx is the version number). Current version is 6.273

Update ABC6.2 (approx 6Mb) Only includes recently changed ABC6 programs to update your existing ABC6.2 (including network version). This will only work if you have already installed ABC6.2 (see above). If you have an earlier version of ABC6, you need to use the INSTALL ABC6.2 first before this update will run. Filename is ABC6_UPD_62xx.exe (the _62xx is the version number). Current version is 6.273

The normal update program (above) has been reported not to work on a few computers. Until we sort out why, here is an alternative update -- if you have a network system you must run this update separately on each Workstation.

ABC6 Payroll

Update Payroll 10-11 A7 (approx 2Mb) This is ABC6 Payroll 10-11 for use from 6th April 2010 to 5th April 2011. Filename is ABC62_QUICKPAYUPD_1011.EXE.
(Note: this update only works if you have already installed the Payroll CD purchased from ABC Direct)

Install Payroll 10-11 A7 (approx 15Mb) This is ABC6 Payroll 10-11 for use from 6th April 2010 to 5th April 2011. Filename is ABC6_PAYROLL_INSTALL1011A.EXE.

Instructions for downloading software.

Simply click on one of the links above to get your computer to start downloading that file and SAVE TO DISK. While it is downloading, we suggest you make a note of the Name of the file you are downloading (eg. abc6_inst_6243.EXE )

When you have finished downloading the file onto your computer, you then need to RUN it in order to install or update your ABC program. Probably the easiest way to do this is to use Windows to locate the file, and then double-click the mouse on it.
Proceed as follows:

From the START button on your Windows desktop, select FIND, FILES OR FOLDERS and then enter the name of the file you downloaded
(eg. abc6_inst_6107.exe) and click "Find Now" When the file appears in the box below, you can simply double-click on it to cause it to "run"

If you have problems with this, or need someone to talk you step-by-step through it on the telephone, please contact your local support person. If all else fails, we suggest you simply order an update disk from us through the post in the normal (old fashioned..??) way.

As soon as a bug is reported, we fix the program and put the updated software onto this website. It is up to you to check this website regularly (eg. every couple of weeks) and download the latest software. (Updates for ABC6.2 are free. Updates for ABC6.3 require that you've paid for Support or updates)".
