This website was produced using Macromedia Fireworks and Dreamweaver. We also like PhotoShop and CorelDraw, and Cool3D helped with one or two images.. It uses Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) which are the latest technology for producing efficient flexible webpages.

The Menu system is powered by Javascript.

We hope it will look pretty in modern browsers, but also degrade gracefully for older browsers. It was designed with accessibility in mind, and most pages meet Section 508 and WAI checkpoints 1, 2, and 3.

As from December 2007 this website is running on a Linux server, and the User Forum is written in PHP and uses a MySQL database.

The background image at bottom left is an old circular slide rule, and the home page has a picture of an old mechanical adding machine at top right.
